Who books and pays for the court?
Paid Hitters' book and pay for court as needed. If using a public court, make sure to communicate the venue as a “Public Facility” in the event description to let registrants know there may be wait times. If paying for a court, it is recommended to include it in the overall Paid Hit fee.

You can list the location as “I’ll come to you!” and coordinate where the hit will take place after booking.
Who brings the balls for the session?
It is the Paid Hitter’s responsibility to provide new or like-new balls for each session.
How should the hit be structured?
Communication is important and asking the registrant what they would like to work on prior to the hit is recommended. It’s customary to include a warmup of all strokes and then move into drills and/or points.
How should time be tracked?
We encourage both Hitters and registrants to arrive early and ready to play at the agreed-upon time. It is recommended that there is a confirmation on a starting time between both parties if there is a wait for a court to ensure accurate completion of the full amount of hitting time.
What happens if my registrant is late?
Technically, the session would start if there is an open court from the agreed-upon time. It would be up to the Paid Hitter’s discretion to consider the circumstances and communicate the length to the registrant. Remember, both Hitters and registrants will receive feedback after the hit and we highly encourage respect on both sides.
How do I contact my registrant for any confirmation on details, questions, or changes?
You can connect with your registrant via the UT messaging system.
How do I get paid?
We utilize Stripe for Paid Hitters. After you're approved to be a Paid Hitter and connect your Stripe account to your profile, you are good to go! As soon as a registrant signs up for your session, you’ll be paid. See payments, manage payouts, and more from Stripe.com.
Has your registrant shared they weren’t able to register for the session?
Have them reach out directly to the Universal Tennis team. We’ll help sort out any issues and ensure they can register right away.
