Medalist Event Pre-Registration How it All Works:
- In order to be invited to pre-register for the USAP Nationals Amateur event, you must:
- Be a gold, silver, or bronze medalist to register for your qualified singles or doubles events
- Have a claimed UTR account. You can check our guide on how to claim your profile.
- A player can only register via the utrsports.net website. You CANNOT register on iOS or Android
Note: If a medalist or an eligible player has not claimed their UTR account, they will NOT be invited via email to register, please encourage your partner to create their account and search for their profile to claim using the website only.
- There are 2 tiers (or waves) of invites that will be sent out to USAP players
- Wave 1: All gold medalists that have participated in the current calendar year of Golden Ticket events are open until 9/3/24
- Wave 2: Silver and Bronze medalists and is slated for 9/9/24.
- After these waves, if spots remain open general registration will begin for eligible players that did not medal.
- You will receive an email for the division you qualify for:
- A medalist can receive multiple invites if they qualify for more than one division
- A medalist DOES NOT need the email link to register. They CAN log in to the website, and navigate to the USAP Nationals Amateur event directly here provided they have been invited with a claimed profile:

- Every time you come to the event page it will pop up a model to show you any division they qualify for. (e.g. divisions under men’s singles, divisions under men’s doubles, etc.)
- If the invited medalist is qualified for a DOUBLES match, they can ONLY select a partner that is on the eligible list of players that can participate. They will have to select a division they are qualified for (e.g. based on both age and UTR-P), then they will be prompted to either select a partner or register without a partner.
- In order to be eligible, these players Must have played in a Golden Ticket event and have claimed their UTR-P profile.
- If they enter to select a partner (they can search for a player they want to play with):
- The results will only show players who have a claimed profile on UTR Sports and were added as eligible to play in nationals by the USAP team.
- If the partner’s name is not in the search list, that means either that partner is not eligible OR that partner has not created a UTR account.
- In this case, the medalist must select ‘I need a partner’. When you successfully pick a partner name to play with, that partner will get an email to register for the event.
- Anyone 70+ will be able to register, they do not need to be a medalist.
- For anyone with a UTR-P of 7 or higher, all 6.0 divisions have been updated to take ratings of 6 or higher.
