Ever wondered how you actually performed in a match compared to your UTR rating?
Performance Stats helps you understand how your match performance compares to your UTR rating, so you can see more than just whether your rating went up or down.
With Performance Stats, you can see how you performed in individual matches and track your performance over time.
What are Performance Stats?
Performance Stats provides insights into your match performance compared with your UTR rating.
Depending on your account and match history, you may see:
- Match Performance Analysis: See how your performance in a match compares with your UTR rating.
- Performance Distribution: See how your match performances are distributed over time.
- Performance Consistency: Understand your performance consistency across qualifying matches.
- Performance Range: See the range of your performances, including your personal performance high.
- Performance History: Power subscribers can view performance information across their qualifying match history.
Performance Stats is an analytics feature and does not change how your UTR rating is calculated. It is a read-only view built on top of the existing rating system.
Who can use Performance Stats?
Performance Stats is currently available for singles players with a Verified Singles UTR.
- Free users
- Free users with a Verified Singles UTR can see a free Performance Stats insight on their most recent qualifying singles match.
- Power subscribers
- Power subscribers with a Verified Singles UTR can access the full Performance Stats experience, including:
- Performance information for qualifying matches
- Performance trend
- Performance consistency
- Performance range and personal performance high
- Full match-by-match performance history available through the Stats tab
- Power subscribers with a Verified Singles UTR can access the full Performance Stats experience, including:
The full Performance Stats experience is included with Power on both Monthly and Annual plans.
Where can I find Performance Stats?
On your player profile, go to:
Player Profile → Stats → Performance
Power subscribers can access the full Performance Stats experience from the Stats tab.
You may also see a Performance Stats insight directly on a qualifying match result.
Why don't I see Performance Stats?
There are a few reasons you may not see Performance Stats yet.
I don't have a Verified Singles UTR
A Verified Singles UTR is required to access Performance Stats.
If your Singles UTR is not yet verified, you'll see a message guiding you toward verification instead of Performance Stats. This is expected behavior.
Verification generally requires approximately 4–5 qualifying singles results.
I only see Performance Stats for one match
If you're a Free user, this is expected.
Free users can see the Performance Stats insight on their most recent qualifying match. Viewing the full match-by-match history and aggregate Performance Stats requires Power.
My Performance Distribution or Consistency section is empty
Some Performance Stats require a larger match history before enough data is available.
Performance Distribution and Performance Consistency require at least 10 qualifying singles matches. If you have fewer than 10 qualifying matches, you may see transitional messaging such as "more matches needed."
I play doubles
Performance Stats is currently singles-only.
Doubles performance is not included in the current release. Doubles support is planned for a future update.
Does Performance Stats affect my UTR rating?
No. Performance Stats is a read-only analytics feature. It uses information from the existing rating system to provide additional insight into your match performance, but it does not change how your UTR rating is calculated.
Your UTR rating may still change after a match based on the existing UTR rating calculation. Performance Stats simply provides additional context around that performance.
Which matches are included?
Performance Stats is designed to work with qualifying singles results that count toward your Verified Singles UTR. The feature supports qualifying results from:
- UTR Sports tournaments
- Leagues
- Flex Leagues
- Verified third-party results
Not every result source is guaranteed to return a per-match performance rating, so availability may vary by result.
Can I share my Performance Stats?
Yes. You can share your player profile, which includes Performance Stats for your latest match.
This can make it easier to share a standout performance with a coach, teammate, or parent.
