What is a Player Profile?
Great question! A player profile is a web page where a player's rating, match history, and preferences are stored.
Every player at universaltennis.com must activate or create a player profile. Are you a parent, or coach, or simply do not play tennis? You will still need to create and complete your profile in order to use our site. You can sign up for Universal Tennis at universaltennis.com.
You'll create a player profile during sign-up if you're new to tennis or don't have any scores recorded in our system.
You'll activate a player profile if you already have some playing history online. Your universaltennis.com player profile may already exist with match results listed, but you'll need to activate it in order to make changes and customize it.
Here’s How To Get Started!
Step 2: Click Join at the top-right corner of the page or Get Started from the mobile app
Step 3: Enter your email address and password and click Sign Up With Email. From the mobile app, you have three options on how you would like to create your profile.
Step 4: Enter your profile info then click Continue. Note that if you’re signing up for your child, this information and e-mail address should be uniquely their own as each child needs their own account at universaltennis.com.
Step 5: Answer two basic questions such as the intent of your account (player, parent, coach, and/or event organizer) and the sports you play (tennis and/or pickleball) to claim/create your profile.
Step 6: You'll be prompted to answer the Get Rated questionnaire/s to populate your Estimated UTR rating and/or UTR Pickleball rating. The estimated UTR rating will be your provisional rating and will automatically update into a UTR rating once you start adding matches to your profile. Note: You can skip this step by clicking "I'll do this later" below the Continue button.
What happens if there are profiles under my name from the Search results?
