This article is designed for Event Providers to help you utilize the Organizer’s Rating, a feature within the Event Desk that assists with more effective player seeding. This tool allows you to assign a custom rating to players with UnRated (UR), estimated, or projected ratings, giving you more control over draw accuracy and player placement.
Key Points to Note:
- The Organizer’s Rating is only visible within the Event Desk. It does not appear on the public event page or on a player's profile.
- This custom rating is marked with an UPDATE button, which appears next to the player’s rating.
- The Organizer’s Rating has no impact on a player’s actual UTR Rating. It’s purely for organizing and building more accurate draws.
- Ratings can include up to two decimal places and must be 16.00 or lower.
- If the Organizer’s Rating differs by more than 2 points from the player’s actual rating, you’ll see a warning message pop up.
How to Get Started:
- Go to your event’s Event Desk.
- In the left-side panel, click Players to view all the registered players.
- Click the UPDATE button to enter a custom rating.
- If needed, you can remove the Organizer’s Rating by clicking the trash bin icon.
Note: The Organizer’s Rating will appear in pink next to the player’s UTR-P Rating.
Where the Rating Appears in Draws
When you're building or reviewing draws, the Organizer’s Rating will be displayed next to the player’s UTR in the Player’s Bank, the list of players available for draw placement. You can always return to the Players section to adjust or remove any custom ratings as needed.
