What is USTA Safe Play?

USTA Safe Play is a program designed to create a safe and positive environment for all tennis participants. It includes training, policy adherence, and background screening to protect athletes and coaches. Learn more here. 

Who needs to complete Safe Play training?

All Providers who work with UTR Sports are required to complete Safe Play Training and obtain SafeSport Training. Read more about the partnership here.

How do I get Safe Play approved?

Follow these three steps to become Safe Play approved:

  1. Log in or create a USTA account.  USTA Login
  2. Complete your personal information. Step 1: Personal Information
  3. Take the Safe Play Training.  Step 2: Training Background
  4. Submit a background check.  Step 3: Background Check
